He joined the firm in February 2010 after serving as a Fellow to the firm. He has also worked on transportation security, housing and financial education, and healthcare.
Prior to joining the firm, Colin was an intern on the House Homeland Security Committee, where he worked closely with the Committee staff on cybersecurity and transportation security. He assisted the staff by covering meetings, drafting policy positions, and briefing members. Colin also has an interest in the rules and precedents of the House and Senate, and their impact on the legislative process.
Colin graduated from the University of Rochester in 2008 with Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and Linguistics. He also studied Creative Writing for a year on scholarship. After graduation, Colin bicycled across the United States.
His personal interests include writing short stories, mathematics, programming, reading, bicycling, and travel. He was born and raised in California's Central Valley.
