Ryan C. Spangler is director of government relations at the Monument Policy Group. He joined the firm in June 2007 and assists in the development and coordination of government relations efforts.

Prior to joining Monument Policy Group, Spangler served as deputy scheduler to Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE), where he was responsible for acting as a primary point of contact for the Senator on various issues and coordinating the Senator’s daily and long-term schedules. During this time, Spangler also had the opportunity to work closely with Senator Biden’s Judiciary and Foreign Relations committee staffs.

In 2003, Spangler spent a semester interning in the office of Senator Biden. While serving as an intern, Spangler attended hearings, assisted with daily press operations, and performed research for the chief of staff.

Spangler graduated from Penn State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics.
